Steve Allen gets 2 podium finishes at Willow Springs

Local motorcycle roadracer STEVE ALLEN bettered last months race finishes aboard his FT500 Honda at Willow Springs International Raceway on Sunday. He netted 2nd place in the 500 Singles class & 2nd in the Lightweight Vintage Dinosaur class. His best finish to date in Vintage was attributed to getting around lapped traffic better than his opponants. Steve also gathered 4th place in Formula Singles, moving up to 14th in the WSMC Overall Points Championship (out of more than 1100 racers). Next race again at Willow Springs October 17-18.
